I’m Meg Duke!
Wink wink.
But for real. That’s my name.

A therapist, neurodivergent momma navigating those roles, and others, in a stressful new reality. And as much as I encourage rest is productive and finding pockets of joy to others in my life, I’ve recently started to take that seriously for myself.
So, when the Duchess of Sussex’s show arrived—coinciding a little too perfectly with my own quiet luxury self-care experiments—I took it as a sign. I had already been deep in conversations about what it means to truly rest, recover, and restore. And to be honest, I was well into recreating these little moments before I decided to document it.
And so, I present to you: MegAnne & Meghan.
I haven’t even seen the movie that inspired the name of this blog (yet). But given that Amy Adams and Meryl Streep are effortlessly iconic—so money they don’t even know they’re money—it’s my loss. Let’s just hope, unlike Julia Child, Meghan doesn’t end up despising me by the time I’m done.
I promise, at some point, I’ll host a watch party of that film. We’ll make a one-pan pasta, sip lemon-ginger-cayenne-turmeric tea, and everyone will leave with a gorgeous lavender citrus recovery bath salt soak.
Welcome to MegAnne & Meghan. I’m so glad you’re here. The world is hard. Let’s find small ways to rest. To recover. To create. Because rest is productive. And making things is restorative. When you’re avoiding Crafting Hubris™, of course.
